Wealthica Update #36: New Add Connection Flow, Easier Subscription management, and more!

Hey Wealthica users!

What we fixed…

We’ve been busy fixing bugs and making updates to make your investment journey smoother than a freshly paved road. This week, we released a few more fixes for PC Financial and although the issue is a bit more complex than we thought, we are getting there. Please try it and get back to us with feedback.

Our dev. team also made some changes to our Shakepay connector (which was having some issues), and it should be working as expected now. Please try it and get back to us with feedback. Also, we released a few updates to our Edward Jones connector, which had some issues with specific accounts, but handling these now should be as expected.

What we released…

  • We redesigned the +Add connection page, making it more user friendly, and easier for you to find your institution and go through the connection process.
  • You can now manage your subscription more easily through the subscription settings page.
  • Improvements to interactive scraping – This has lead to a big drop in sync errors for Core connectors that are credential-based.
  • Market value issue in Stockchase manual tracking connector – Manually tracked stocks are now showing the correct market value.

What we’re working on…

Regarding connectors, we are still working on our IA Private Wealth connector, and will update the Status page with all developments. Also, we are currently working with our connection provider Yodlee on multiple issues with different institutions, but mainly for Morgan Stanley Stock Connect, as a few users reported it. Unfortunately, we cannot give an exact ETA on issues like these, as they go through connection providers. Although we made some great progress with PC Financial, you still may experience some issues, so feel free to reach out if you do, and we will do our best to check.

As always, you automatically benefit from all Crypto API features released by our partner Vezgo. They just released fixes and major platform stability improvements. We’re unstoppable! (Okay, maybe just slightly stoppable, but we’re trying our best!).
