Some users have reported that transferring stocks from another institution to Wealthsimple resulted in the book value being shown as the market value at the time of the transfer instead of the original. You can toggle the option in order to show the right one. This works for Wealthsimple Trade and Invest connectors.
1. Click to institution row and then click “Edit”;
2. Select “Use Book Value instead of Adjusted Book Value” and Save changes;
3. Click Sync institution, wait until sync and then check the updated numbers.
