For users who must migrate from HSBC Invest Direct to RBC Direct Investing, here are the steps to follow
- Click on the HSBC InvestDirect listing at the bottom of your main dashboard page.
- Click on “DELETE”.
- Select the option “I closed my account and don’t use it anymore”, in order to soft-delete/archive this account.
- Check the box “Past account data will be archived and preserved”.
- Connect your new RBC Direct Investing account by clicking on the “+ADD” button and follow the guided steps.
Once you have archived your HSBC Invest Direct connection, historical data will be saved, and you can view it by going on your profile preference settings, and enabling the option “Show deleted investments, assets & liabilities”.
